I needed the break from
Merrlyn to do something fresh, or I would have rotted in my mind.
Anyway, my right hand is
tired of working the gears. I still drive the stick on manual.
For caution here. The new
tale will be vulgar, lewd, the Approval Board may rate it ‘above Double XX’ but
it was fun to create. After having to ‘struggle’ with MERRLYN, and the stress
of my normal life, it equates to FUCTRATIION (even my SPELL CHECK went into
rephase…... pardon the expression.)
I will be back to MERRLYN
soon; a solemn promise to finish it….it stands erect at 26K words (As in a
statue in the park; pardon the expression again). Ironically, when the
sculptors of old (and new ones), they seem to miss out on the ‘aroused’
expression (Pardon me here again). Binged on BBC series. Imagine Apollo
sporting it and you are gaping at it, and the cameraman stood at the odd angle......
Your picture will make it on Page Three of the papers ...... or in between the
CLASSIFIED for the 'extra services' and 'MISC. In some countries, it would be
MAIL ORDER ONLY. or nowadays, it is LOGIN, PAID UP, and PERSONAL ACCESS
ONLY.
Well, if I am a model for
one, I would have de-roused from the long waiting; “Can I take a break? I need
to pee…… Hold on there, I will finish soon the chipping ……. Why did you pee on
me? …… I did say but Peter does have his own mind on the geometric of calculating
the trajectory. Now we can continue. I do not need to pee…… I need to wipe you
dry…... I would not do that. Peter has other loads too.

Done. It will nor be rare
but hopefully well done on both sides.
Act Zero
Scene One
The cleansing
The Ford Model
A was a car made by the Ford Motor Company. It had a four-cylinder
flat-head engine. It replaced the Ford Model T, the earlier model from Ford
Motor Company, which had been produced for 18 years. The new model was
available in four standard colors.
The engine was a
water-cooled L-head inline four with a displacement of 201 cu in (3.3 L). This
engine provided 40 hp (30 kW; 41 PS). The top speed was around 65 mph (105
km/h). The Model A had a 103.5 in (2,630 mm) wheelbase with a final drive ratio
of 3.77:1. The transmission was a conventional unsynchronized three-speed
sliding-gear manual brakes with a single--speed reverse. The Model A had
four-wheel mechanical drum brakes.
The Model A came in a wide
variety of styles, including coupes (standard and deluxe), business coupes,
sports coupes, roadster coupes (standard and deluxe), convertible cabriolets,
convertible sedans, phaetons (standard and deluxe), Tudor sedans (standard and
deluxe), town cars, Fordors (five-window standard, three-window deluxe),
Victoria town sedans, station wagons, taxicabs, trucks, and commercials. The
very rare special coupe started production around March 1928 and ended in
mid-1929.
The Model A was the first
Ford to use the standard set of driver controls with conventional clutch and
brake pedals, throttle, and gearshift. Previous Fords used controls that had
become uncommon to drivers of other makes. The Model A's fuel was situated in
the cowl, between the engine compartment's fire wall and the dash panel. It had
a visual fuel gauge, and the fuel flowed to the carburettor by gravity. A
rear-view mirror was optional. In cooler climates, owners could purchase
an after they place over the exhaust manifold to provide heat to the cab.
A small door provided adjustment for hot air entering the cab. The Model A was
the first car to have safety glass in the windshield.
“Call out to Willie. The boss
is boss is leaving now.” Dan “Boxer” Williams was the head honcho for the East
Side Outfit; they ran the lotteries there along with the usual bootlegging operations.
He was a huge guy, wide-shouldered, but he lacked the heights.
“It ain’t my mom's fault. My
dad was short, but he could reach up to shag her.” Dan will tell anyone asking why
he why he is short before he lands his left hook on the other’s jaw. No one
else did after that incident.
Terry Adams; the runner was
tall and held long legs. He was nicknamed “Runner” for that. He had served with
Dan for five years but never made it to the upper echelon. He just likes to
work with Dan. He took the distance and reached the Tudor Sedan, Turquoise in
the shade. It was the boss’s favourite to have that shade; ‘it shades; it made
me stand out in the traffic’.
“Hondo, Boss is leaving.”
Terry stepped onto the left side steps when Hondo turned the steering. He
honked at the vegetable cart that was on the road. Hondo is from horseback riding
territory and rode the wagons when he was when he was young. He left the plains
and came to the city to be a road racer, but ended up as a driver for bank
heists and smuggling runs.
Hondo signalled for the
other Ford T to follow on the rear. There were two others in the vehicle ……… two
brothers from the hills. Dumbo and Jumbo ……. their names say it all ……. are
loyal as guards and fierce in their outlook. Their only hangups are their love
for their shotguns. They would not leave their bedding without it.
The Ford A arrived at the
steak house from the right side. Terry stepped off and opened the rear door. Tony
“East Side” Mann stepped out ofof the doorway after removing the towel from his
neck. He tossed it back to the shop.
“Keep it, kiddo.” Tony Mann
held a tall profile, but he slouched on the walk. He had a bad spine injury and
could not walk upright. He wore the blue--striped suit as his boys all do——the
East Side looks, he calls them.
“Hey, Terry.” The boss
called out when he saw the approaching two figures from the right side walk
with the overcoats. His years of being on the wrong side of the law told him
there would be trouble.
“Terry….” The boss called
out, but he was expecting the blast from the shop’s entrance. The long burst of
the machine gun ripped into his spine and tore up his guts from the rear. He
went face down, on the road. Terry reached for his gun under the jacket and was
shot in the right side by the two figures in the overcoat. The Thompson machine
with the round ammo clip was a deadly gun at short distances.
“What the...” The two
brothers were executed by the shooter who approached the vehicle from the side.
It was a send-off in the faces by the revolver there. Tony, who was off the
vehicle to reach for the gun in his pocket, was cut down by the hail of bullets
into his torso. Hondo saw the shooting and did what any driver will do then, he
drove off.
The figure that shot the
boss stepped out. He had placed the machine gun back into the cover of the
overcoat. He saw the For A in the dark shade stopped at the roadside. He
stepped in and watched the other shooters took their routes to leave the scene.
“Back to the Palace now.”
“Yes, Mr. Mardian.”
