The stakes are raised higher

A safe house near the Vatican
"Grace Pelt was one of
our best recruit as a Crusader. She first discovered the demons were
congregating into the their flocks for some reason. She pursue the matter from
Paris to Madrid, Dakar, Moscow, Hong Kong and finally ended in Manila. She was
to meet the informer who would reveal to her the matter. She died on the
rendezvous but the killer forget to check the pocket contents." Father Ricken
pause to say short prayer. The he continued.
"The other victim was a
geophysicist and part time pastor. We found his portable drive containing the
works he did for the last five years. He has been mapping thermal activities in
the world and co-relate them in looking for trends. He found a roadway beneath
the surface linking the locations including Makati City, Manila, the bottom of
Lake Maggiore, Ford Dry Lake, the waterfall screen at Victoria Falls, the manor
in Siberia, the high tower in Seoul and a village near Tehran. Those are the
seven main sites with fifty eight minor locations."
"We sent out members of
our elite, Crusaders and other divisions to check on the sites. Most of them
did not came back but they did send some interesting data for us to analyze.
These are all staging areas for the war, but there is one more location not
disclosed; the sixty sixth site. It was identified as the main staging area
with the words 'mother gate' but we cannot find the name in his notes. He kept
that to himself only to be revealed verbally."
"So how does God comes
into the picture?" Kruger asked as he is traditional in his belief. Father
Ricken looked at Kruger and continued.
"As I have said earlier,
the missing pages of the Book of Revelation tells or interpreted that there
would be a day when God had found Man lacking in doing his works. He has
pounded into Man since the beginning of time to listen and to understand but we
do not. So in the last words of the missing pages states that if the hammer
cannot wear out the anvil, then let it be the anvil who would be the
hammer." Father Ricken took out a world map and drew lines linking the
seven locations he had named. The shaped looks like a quartz diamond design but
then again it looks like an anvil. "That's our clue to the
revelation."
All of look at the sketch and
sighed except Kruger.
"I am still confused at
the significance. Why would a coincidental sketch be said to hold the prophecy?
If the pages did say that the anvil would do for a hammer, then the blacksmith
would have to be a giant to hold it up." Kruger shrug his shoulders.
"Maybe what you see here is not an anvil but a two sided chisel or a
boat."
They all ignored him but
Geraldine asked of the priest their next stage.
"We taken down two
charter, with two more collapsing. So when do we start?"
"You don't. Taking down
the charter is not yours now. You are to find Lucifer. He is the real leader
here. Once you get him, the unseen leader would surfaced." Father Ricken
told the Crusaders.
"So where do we dig him
out?" Kruger asked.
"Siberia."
