The Crusaders II The Cards are revealed 15.04

1.          Outside of Brooke View Library

Lucifer stepped out to meet Micheal who called on his name. There was a lull in the battle; both foes taking to their own boundary. The demons on the left and the army of Micheal to the right. Micheal was dressed in his robe but he bears a sword; his own sword, the flaming sword of Micheal. The hilt of the sword was dark in shade but the blade was shaded red like lava. Lucifer stepped forth holding a trident spear shaded in red from the top to black at the staff end.

"We shall decide the winner and he who loses shall do as needed." Micheal declared.

"So shall it be like before." Lucifer accepts the decision.

They both raised their weapons and it was then Gabriel rushed out from the Library.

"Stop in the name of the almighty Father." Gabriel rushed to Micheal and held onto his hand holding the hilt of the  sword. "He seeks the two of you in his presence."

Both warriors walked with Gabriel to the library and went inside.

An hour later, they came out and then stopped in front of their army.

Micheal turn to his army and bid them to collect their dead and wounded to depart. Just before he left, Micheal turn to Lucifer. He whispered to Lucifer and the other smiled. Then Micheal took his leave with Raphael. Lucifer looked to the demons who awaits his words.

"There would no more of this war. You may all return to your previous dwellings and continue on in your works." It drew a hushed from the demons and they refused to budged. A harpy walked out and approached the Prince of Darkness.

"What of the salvation that was said to be ours?"

"Here is your salvation when you choose to come here centuries ago. Your time to rejoin the heavenly Father would be another time. We just got to continue the wait here." Lucifer looked to his army. "I know many of you are disappointed that we fought for nothing. But in reality, we won as our voice was heard. Your Father heard your call, and he had not forgotten all fo you."

The demons stood there and muttered among themselves. Then Lucifer called on them to dispersed leaving only the seven Princes standing there with the Crusaders with the wounded mortal warriors. Lucifer told his Brethren to leave while he awaits Gabriel the only angel still there.

Gabriel stepped out and spoke to Lucifer.

"Father ask me to not to able the gate until your time have come." Gabriel spoke to Lucifer and then looked to Geraldine. "Before I go, I would pass this to you. You may use it to heal the wounded and then placed it here."

Gabriel point to Geraldine a wooden case.

"I would come and collect it later." The angel passed over four of the unit that looked like a scepter.

"Tell me what did happened inside.' Geraldine asked of Gabriel. "I deserved to know. I am part of this crusade."

"I would like to have tell you everything but in the end, I would still to hide the memory from you. None of you in the guise of Man are ready to know the whole truth. Those are not my command but from my Father." Gabriel told the Crusaders.

"Then why do you make us take the tasks and risked our lives?" Miles was getting agitated.

"Which is why I said the whole truth shall not be revealed but there would be some truths you can retained." Gabriel conveyed the intention of this Father. "Man need some champions to guard their existence. As you can recalled, we are living in multiple dimensions with many similarities. You, the Crusaders may need to come to the aid of Man in conflicts when these dimensions collide. Demons and devils are only some of your foes..."

Lucifer drew on a deep cough, and Gabriel correct his statement.

"The occasional ....rogue angel may be one of your foe, but there are many others." Gabriel looked at Lucifer for affirmative nod. "You seen some of them recently; Norse and Egyptian."

"\Of which we are removing for you." It was the voice of Thor who held onto the shoulder of Loki whom he had apprehended with Balder. Lord Seth had come willingly as he wants to go back to his dimension.

"We are taking him back but we thought of leaving this for you. The staff you hold would and may summoned you should Asgard have a need of you. And your friends." Thor smiled at the Crusaders. "We would be going now."

The Asgardian and the Egyptian left in whiff of wind.

"Gabriel, what made you think we would continue on as Crusaders? We did not actually volunteered here." Kruger interject in. He does not like to assumed in the role.

"You can't escape your fate. All of you are linked to the task of protecting mankind and their beliefs in the faith." Gabriel then looked at Lucifer. "One of your number is not here. You always gloat on being the leader, but he is more than you. Baal could be your nemesis. Beware my warning, brother."

Gabriel and Lucifer soon disappeared in whiff of flashing lights leaving the Crusaders standing there alone. Geraldine looked at the scepter in her hand and then moved among the wounded. The other three soon followed suit.
