Crusaders III: The New Age 1.54

10.5.        The Event Frozen – Apocalypse

The Angel Micheal collapsed onto his knees with only his sword holding him up. The other Angels stepped forth to assist him, but he refused their help.

“Father, I have failed you.” The Angel Micheal spoke up.

“No, Micheal. All of you have not failed me.” The voice boomed once more. “I have failed myself. I had created what I perceived as a perfection image of mine. But I was wrong. There are no perfections in creation. There are no flaws in creating. Only imperfection in our creation made by the mind.”

“Of which I would right now correct. Behold my anger.” The voice boomed. A holographic image appeared before all of them. It was the world which the Crusaders had left.

“I created the Great Flood to wash away the early sins of Man. I forgave one who was named Noah. He was asked to saved the creatures other than Man. I chose the flood to wash the dimension of its sins but with water I could only clean what it may reach.”

“It was deep and wide, but the sins of Man was wider and deeper. It stayed in the shadow, and came out when Man re-emerged to sunlight.”

“This time, I would do another. It was prophesized. So behold its fury.” The image showed the falling of fires from the skies and the ground erupted with flames. “None which had life would be spared.”

“No!’ Geranium screamed out. “You cannot do this. There are …”

“They are my subjects. Man was my creation. I giveth and I can taketh.” The voice boomed out.

“No, you may be the giveth. But the giveth cannot not take what was already given.” Geranium screamed out. “If you do taketh, you would be stealing it back.”

“Who are you to question me?” The voice boomed.

“I, Geranium Black. The child of your children of the dimension you are destroying.” Geranium replied. “You claimed to be its Creator, and now do you want to be remembered as its Destroyer.”

“What was mine would be mine to do with? How could you deny me of that?”

“I am not denying you of your right. I am asking you know the consequences of your rights.” Geranium spoke out. “We may minions in your creations, but we are still yours in creation. You cannot be whimsical with what you had created. Think hard on that.”

“Be gone then children of Man.” The voice boomed out but Azazel stepped forth to block the command. “Father, they are mine. I plead with you to have them pardoned. Be merciful for all they are your creation too.”

It was then the other Angels also went down to their knees, and pleaded for the mercy to be given. The seven Princes of Darkness did the same.

“A true quality of Man. Maybe it’s not theirs but of mine.” The voice spoke out in a lower tone. “The one named Geranium had revealed something I may have missed out for too long. So be it.”

It all ended then.

Epilogue 10

Geranium opened her eyes to find herself on the bed. She was on a high post bed in a large room. She eyed the surrounding and found herself surrounded by a group of people. One of them exclaimed out.

“She’s awake.” The one was dressed in a dark robe had brought a number of people to her side.

“Geranium, are you well?” It was the voice of Father Mikhail. She remembered then that the room was her own in the fortress by the Neva River. She nodded to the question raised by the priest.

“She is fine.” Father Timon who was standing by the priest told the others. There were sounds of muttering in prayers and relief by the others.

“You were sent here by the survivors of the battle at the stadium in Munich.” Father Mikhail told her. “You had been in the sleep state for over four months now.”

“Helmut? Micheal?” Geranium tried to sit up but her body was weakened by the long rest.

“The others have been taken back to their own care by the others. I knew that Helmut the one you mentioned is in Bavaria, but Micheal is with his command.” Father Mikhail explained to her.

“Crawler?” Geranium asked again.

“The ….Squire of yours had eluded us.” Father Mikhail shook his head. “The survivors told us of a big explosion that destroyed the stadium, along with many of the Vampires and humans, but there was not much we can dig in to find your Squire. We assumed he had perished along with them.”

“The world..” Geranium asked.

“Your last battle with the demons had saved us. The war had ended since then.” Father Mikhail explained again. “The demons somehow had left or disappeared from this world. We found the land had nurtured and plants are growing. It’s truly a miracle what you may had done, but with God’s blessing we are going to survive again.”

“Apocalypse?”

“It’s over, my child.” Father Mikhail whispered to her. Then he told her to rest and had everyone leave the room. They all convened outside in the Main Hall and listened to the priest.

“Geranium must never know. This is our new world now. A new Age for Mankind, to start again. An age without Angels and Demons.” Father Mikhail spoke out. “It’s God’s will that brought us this new dimension.”

“For that, the Crusaders are no more; once these three had gone, there would be no other.” Father Mikhail continued on. “It’s the wishes of the Angel named Micheal.”

“Then who would champion our cause in the future if we are ever threatened?” One of those who attended asked.

“There would always be God for us to look out for. Father would not desert us as you did before.” Father Mikhail replied. “ More to it, all his children are here to ensure the nine of you do not do revert to your demonic ways. Especially you, Lucifer.”

“Now let us rejoice in this dimension that Father had been merciless to grant us a new life.” Father Mikhail* smiled. “Heaven awaits us in her land.”

“Anyone missed me?” The voice came from the rear. It was Lilith.

*Footnote: The name Mikhail is the equivalent of Micheal in Russian.
