The Crusaders II 6.4 Cards Shuffled

1.          Manor in the forest, Moscow Russia

The priests asked their guests to followed them down to the high ceiling basement. The place was lighted up in certain corners to give it some resemblance of a chamber but most areas were dark and humid with the air blowing from the top ducts. There are stacks of boxes and discarded pieces of furnitures all around, but what amazes the guests was the presence of a tree that drew in this area. It bathe the surrounding area with its radiance of brightness, and yet soothing to the sight.

"Its a Yew Tree; one that was there before the time of Man. Its a symbol of our time, and also of others. The tree stands for strength and above all, a symbol of everlasting life." The older of the priests spoke up. "This one holds the secret of the other planes. Recently, it cries out in pain and shared its woes to us. It tells us of the dimensional portals being opened and the intervention of the two worlds."

"Geraldine Black, we are mere mortals, but you and your companion are more than that. Both of you are mortals with an uncanny skills of the angels. We begged of you to save the tree and the planes." The elder priest paused and then continue. "Before there are no more worlds to save."

"Your prized possession from the Yggdrasil would communicate with the Yew Tree to guide you." The Elder priest hands over to her a belt made from the bark of the tree. "Wear this. When in need pull it out. It would become a staff and it would also be your guide when you in need of one."

The priest placed his right hand on the Yew Tree and the base of the trunk opens up to reveal a staircase. "Go with our blessing, Crusaders."

The slim bark wrapped around Geraldine then came untwined to appear as a staff on her right hand. She looked at her squire and he went forth towards the staircase. She followed on into the dark tunnel, but the place was lighted up by the glowing staff.

Its a dark tunnel with uneven steps and the walls are damp. Once the duo have stepped into the tunnel, the entrance shut by itself. The glow of the staff adds a level of green ambiance to the walls. As they were making their way down, they can see creatures of the dark access scruffy ing away from the light. The staircase soon leveled to a open cavern that resemble a replica of the pillars at Stonehenge. Geraldine walked to the pillars and touched it on the surface. She find herself drawn towards it and shouted out.

"Clawler, I am pulled in....." Geraldine disappeared from the cavern. Her squire looked for her but she was now where to be found. He soon touched another pillar and find himself drawn in.
