Crusaders III: The New Age 1.19

Prologue 2

The dungeons were over five centuries old, and in its heydays, were filled with foes of the Faith, among its occupants. There the persons imprisoned would be subjected to the numerous tortures for information or pleasures of the tormentors but in the last three centuries, it had become more of an old relic. It was during the war that it was put to use as the shelter and then reverted back to its original use. The stone walled enclosure half buried beneath the palace, had a number of cells with steel doors, and wall shackles which had served its tormentors well. There was also a concealed passage ways for the deceased occupants to be removed for other purposes without tarnishing the pristine upper floors of the palace.

Nordstrom stepped past the heavy steel gate and descended down the dimly lit staircase to the dungeon. At the entrance of the dungeon were three Vampire guards with their machetes. They stood to attention on his arrival. He walked on and saw the four win winged demons he had placed there in the open cell as extra guards and on some occasion used as scouts. They were busy consuming the flesh of the last victims.

"Complete your meals. I want you to seek me the Crusaders. Followed them and advised me on their locations." Nordstrom told them. These demons are shape shifter and would be able to blend into any place. But he was soon distracted by the howling at the end of the dungeon cells. He walked himself there and saw the large white abomination there hung there on the chains with its toes barely touching the floor.

"You can't resist the call?" Nordstrom told the one other creature crouched at the darker end of the cell. "Well, enjoyed yourself with the Yeti. Once we find your twin brother, we would let you know. Family reunion would be fun."

The figure from the dark leapt out and sank its claws into the white abomination in the chest. It pulled down and exposed the flesh beneath the fur. It then pulled out its claws before thrusting it into the Yeti' heart. The bloodied white abomination screamed out in pain, but soon its head dropped forward unmoving while the killing creature devoured its flesh.
