1500hrs Killrock Day One Part 1.1

1500 hours Day One Killrock

1.          The Settlement

Sergeant Ronald was standing at the Controller Section in the Admin Block with Corporal Thames when Controller Theresa walked in with three other Settlers. They were all armed with picks and iron rods.

"Controller Theresa , what can ~" Controller Theresa swung with the iron rod to send the Sergeant onto the back. The other three subdued the Corporal into a submission. They herded the two NCO with the other Rangers into the basement where they were tied up.

2.          The New Command

General Manning was told that one squad was held there, and the Settlers numbered one hundred and fifty are now armed holding them hostage. He got a battle on three front, and now the enemy have placed a squad of his men in a fix. They are demanding to speak to the General for immediate evacuation from the colony or they would kill the hostages.

General Manning looked at Major Koenig and gave his command.

"Bring back Basilus and the Squad Five. They can handle this." General Manning paused and then continued. "No quarters to be given."

3.          The Settlement

Squad Five was brought there and now they are eyeing the Admin Block. His squad is now down to eight personnels but they have a new Commander; Major Koenig. The Major wanted to lead the task and now he is studying the block. Fifteen levels per block and the Admin Office covers the first levels. There is the basement which they keep the spares and discarded equipment and also for inter-block movements during storms or for comfort.

"Lieutenant," Major Koenig addressed Basilus by his rank. The Scouts don't use ranks in the battle field which was why they all referred to him as Leader. "I want the squad to storm in and finished the task."

Basilus looked at the Major and frown, but his expression was hidden behind the helm face. Before he could react, the Major told him he would be stay here to monitor the other blocks. He asked for a Ranger to accompany him.

Basilus garner up his squad and they all ran to the Building Block, leaving Luke with behind.

"All comms to our stealth channel." Basilus wants them to switch over to the Stealth Channel; their own channels used for tasks like this. "We got to do this ourselves or we would end up dead."

"Mira, Marc, and Pete; recon and find an access to the Basement. The rest with me." Basilus started moving towards the end of the Admin Block. He does see any Settlers and that worries him. They are doing something else. He had to find out what.

"Leader, we found an access. We are in the Admin Block." Mira called in. "There is an escalator. It goes down."

Basilus led his section to the Block in front; Block 3. There was a doorway which they went in. It opened to a long corridor with all the settler personal units lined up but there was a staircase on the side. Its the emergency exit in case of a malfunction.Basilus motioned down but he stopped Rhonda.

"Stay here and watched the corridor. Shoot to kill if threatened." Basilus gave the order and then followed the section to go below.

Its place laden with crates and spare equipments. Its extend all across the Settlement; the whole place was supported the above building. There are also discarded personal discards. Basilus could see the escalator and his other section led by Mira. She saw and signaled him. Basilus looked at the crates and asked the section to searched the place. There are still no signs of the Settlers.

"Leader, we found explosives. Its all lined up on center." Mira reported in. "It rigged to remote trigger."

"Get out of the Basement. Move up ground and scout the blocks." Basilus also move his section up. They joined up with Rhonda.

"I saw some movements up ahead." Rhonda reported in. "I can't be sure. They are hiding in the end of the corridor."

"At ease, Ranger." Basilus took over and asked Rhonda to get back He assigned Durant to take over. "Use all the sensors to check for any surprises."
