The Crusaders II The players fiddles 8.3

1.          Halls of Judgment, Asgard

The feasting at the Hall was rousing and cheering for the coming adventure until Heimdall barged in through the door of the Hall. Heimdall was standing guard outside to ensure no intruder disrupt the feast.

"They are coming!" Heimdall roared out his warning but it was too late as the missile came in from behind his back to slammed into the rear end of the Hall. The Javelin missile with its HEAT warhead exploded in the confined space. It could not bring down the pillars or the walls but it took many life's that day.

Thor was the first to rise holding his Mjonir as he screamed out in anger at this devious attack.

"Fight me like a Man, Loki." Balder was next to rise with the aid of his sword. Both warriors then moved around to assist the others; treating the wounded and moving the dead. Heimdall who was at the doorway was thrown back by the explosion, picked himself up from the ground. His keen ears picked up the retreating enemies at over a two hundred metres, but Odin who outside with Geraldine held him back.

"Attend to the wounded. The enemy would be there for us another day." Odin wisely told his trusted lieutenant. He then looked towards Geraldine.

"Your request would need to be delayed. My realm need me now." Odin turned to walk with Heimdall to the Hall. Geraldine followed up and said to Odin.

"I shall stay to defend your realm. Then we would fight mine." Geraldine declared to Odin who smiled beneath his hat.
