01:00hrs Day One past landing at Killrock 1.4

1.          The battle of the Tanks (2)

Senior Tanker McKenzie have been running his CT maximum despite the oncoming shots. He done his one kilometer safe run minus some scratches; they don't call him Crazy Mac for nothing. He saw the Vampire in the viewer at close range of half a kilometer.

"Frag that bloodsucker." McKenzie shouted out with his saliva coating the comms set. "Fire the Cochise."

The 60mm Cochise guns on Crazy Mac roared to live with its impact and at this closer range, it blew the Vampire turret off the hull. Crazy Mac was not stopping there; he got the driver to veered to the right and take on the other Vampire attacking the 'Cabot'. That CT tank was hit on the tracks but its still operational forcing its engines to move the tracks.

"Give it another dose." Crazy Mac gunner did not hesitate with a broadside on the tank. It blew the Vampire on the side and exploded from inside the turret.

"Good, now its mopped up time." Crazy Mac shouted in the command. Across the wide plains, the other two Vampires were aiming for the stalled CT 'Witch' when 'Poppins' blew one of the attacking Vampire tanks. The second one saw the new threat and released off one of the Fang towards the stalled tank.

"Damned! Fang incoming." This time the Witch crews braced and prayed for a quick painless death. The cannister went out and exploded to cover the tank. The EM came into contact with the Fang and fizzled its navigation and detonator. The missiles all fell like rains just two metres away from the Witch. All of them sigh in relief.

Poppins had then fired at the last Vampire but missed it.

Then the new order came in.

"All Tanks to hold position." That was the call from Colonel Jahangir who had just landed on the planet. He was also fuming mad at Colonel Ludwig taking his tanks for a ride.

Crazy Mac looked at the gunner of his tank.

"Jolly good show, huh?" The gunner gave him a weak smile.
