Folk Tales 14; Snowy and Seven dwafts

Snowy White and Seven Dwafts....
Once upon a time, there was a Princess who was so beautiful that her father, the King refused to let her do anything in the palace, except be praised for her beauty. Unfortunately for her, the Queen died too early and the King being a King, needed a Queen, so he married another lady to be a Queen.
So starts our story.
Now the new mother, the Queen was from a normal household and though she is plain but she is a lovable person at heart. Guess that’s why the King married her. So she came into Princess Snowy White’s life as a ‘stepmother’. Now the ladies of the castle, being scorned by the King for choice of Queen, plotted against the new Queen. They told of stories whcih will make your breakfast come out faster than you can eat. And poor Snowy ... sorry, Princess Snowy White heard these stories and she was concerned of her own existence as Princess.
But the new Queen on seeing her ‘daughter’; lovely Princess who does nothing except looked at the mirror; she thought that this young lady need to be taught to be humble and above all, knows her place in the household. So she consulted her adviser which is incidentally herself in the mirror ( I never said she was normal ) and got her instructions. So she asked the woodcutter to take the Princess to the forest to explain to her how the wood was derived. So he did, and poor Princess put on her riding boots and followed suit. She was not going to argue with the new Queen. On the way, she saw the woodcutter cut down trees’ and removed branches, but a poor rabbit was caught by a falling branch. It died due to the trauma inflicted on its skull, causing heavy brain damage. So the sad woodcutter removed its heart with intention to return it to its mate.
But when he did that, Princess Snowy White saw it, she went whiter than white. She ran for her life with stories of evil thoughts. But for one who does not do much running before, and wearing riding boots; you can’t get far without feeling tired. But to her relief, she found a cottage with seven windows and one door ( thankfully ). She went in there and saw the mess in there. There was all seven years of dirt on the floor, seven months of dirty laundry, seven weeks of unwashed plates, seven days of expired food, and seven hours of fermented drinks, and seven minutes before she faints from all these smell. So in seven seconds, she decided that the cottage was not much but its shelter from the creatures that roam the forest. But how do you stayed in such deplorable condition. Its either that or the forest. So Princess Snowy White rolled up her sleeves and worked her seven commandments off; these are work, works, worked, working, tired, tiring, exhausted.
And as she was exhausted, she slept on the bed which has been cleaned of ticks and roaches. She snored so loud that the returning seven dwafts ( the legal resident of the cottage, and owner of those seven whatever as said above) heard her above their morale lifting singing. They were dismayed at the sight of a ‘woman’ in the house. They went into a frenzy when they saw the state of their cottage. See what happens when you allowed a woman into your life; they rumbled your lifestyle to theirs.
But poor Princess Snowy White never woke up as she was exhausted, until Prince Charming came. He was in need of the bathroom, and he could smell this was the cleanest one in the forest. But when he saw the Princess, he figured since he is the Prince, he might as well wake up the Princess.  So he did, and they saw the gleam in each other’s eyes, which tells them love is in the air. So they left the cottage to the dwafts and live happily ever after in the new palace of the Prince.
So did the Queen, now she has the whole palace to herself, and no Princess to called on. Much later we found out the Princess became Cinderella as she had to scrub the floors daily. We knew as echoes of these were heard.; ‘Cinderella......’
( In a home, there can only be one Queen, so get your own castle when you married. But before you do that, learn to do household, it helped a lot. )
