Tweet...Tweet... Heroes and Villains

 A preview

Mr. Power sat up from his fallen position and uttered the profanity at the adversary who had given him the one hundred and twenty feet slam distance to the rear. He shook the red mane of his closely cut hair piece and then pushed himself to his knees.

“I will be ---” Mr. Power was not to complete his curse then for the metal iron steel which was part the building pillar designed exposed by the impact, had fallen towards Mr. Power with its sharpened tip plunged into him at the exposed throat. The two-footer steel rod, broken off the pillar supported by the weight of the collapsing building levels did the task better than any explosive parts on Mr. Power so named invulnerable frame. The force of the steel rod pierced the hard flesh of Mr. Power to exit in the rear of the neck.

Mr. Power was stunned and then saw his plight was not over as yet when the looming structure of the building was seen impacting onto him.

Five hundred and twelve lives were lost in that collapse including one super hero.

A thousand and five others survived.

The fault was on one person, the super hero who collapsed the building although in his exploits, he had saved tens of thousands over the period of three years. It ended the legend of Mr. Power, the man of strength.

No one remembered a fallen superhero.

Now hovering at 5K words.... and flowing...Wish me luck,

Cheers
