Tweet...tweet.... 09/08/2018... Short Tales

Thank you for having read Short Tales 1. I hoped it was a good read. I had embarked on a series of short tales aka 25K words per tale, with the seven heroes. I am at the moment three quarter with Tales 4 and Tales 5 is already on the plate.

Well, tale 1 was on Watson, and Tale 2 will be on Tarzan, Tale 3 was on Doctor Moriarity ( pardon the heroic act if he was any but to me he was a hero. There was Tale 4 with Van Helsing ( almost done ) and Tale 5 will be ..... Mycroft Holmes ( a hundred words now....lol ) Well there be one on Sherlock Holmes.... Yes, but its still beyond my deductions now.... but soon...perhaps.

Why the shorter tales?

Well, its easier to write

And its fun to write

And its not that taxing on the mind....when you are back from work after a gruelling eight hours and the bed looked enticing. I have a tale or two which are pending at over 80K words and needed the final capping. I also find that sometimes, during my write, new ideas came on and I am spinning off new tales like Short Tales 5 which was inspired by the re-read ( probably more than a dozen times ) of Bourne Identity and Ian Fleming James Bond.

Well, I have taken the final bow of mine from working for others, to my early retirement but with my character, its either a long sleep after that or ventured into other fields. I am into my own biz and while its building up, I am writing. Maybe one day I will publish them all on e-book.

And before I do the deep sleep, I have one tale to complete. A tale of my grandfather and his exploits in the adopted land here. I have done the first write some years back but it was too bland, so I will delved into that. Its my gift to my kids and their kids.

And my gift is here. Read on and thank you.

Cheers
